Distribution: South Greece
Comments: After being discovered in 1954, this crocus was not named after its Greek discoverer Dr. C.N. Goulimy until 1975. This species is sometimes found en masse in southern Greece (Peloponnese) in old olive and fig orchards. A very beautiful white flowering variety of this species occurs in the wild as well.
