Distribution: E Europe to C Asia
Comments: In spring, the small Tulipa biflora usually produces two, sometimes one, sometimes up to six, flowers with creamy white petals with a yellow spot at the base. This tulip is found from the Crimea to Central Asia and South Siberia. Because of its growing location in the wild, on mountain slopes, this tulip is very suitable for the rock garden.
