Comments: The petals of this yellow tulip have a special reflection that bumblebees in particular find attractive. Striking are the wavy leaves with pointed tips. In 2021, this tulip was awarded the English Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. The species is named after General Gerasim Kolpakovskii, Russian soldier who was active in Kazakhstan in the 19th century.
