Comments: Chinese chives or garlic chives has been cultivated in Southeast Asia for centuries. The leaves are eaten as a vegetable. The white, star-shaped flowers are in dense umbels and appear in late summer. Although this species is native to subtropical regions, it can tolerate frost well.
